One of our key objectives is to reduce or eliminate paper when it comes to managing employee time and attendance.
To date, our focus has been on eliminating paper timesheets but another area we have been looking at is the Leave Application and Approval Process.
While employees have been able to apply for leave via a browser login for some time (in particular when using the MyTimesheets Team app in PIN mode) and also in some cases via the Add Time function under the menu in the MyTimesheets Personal App (Email Login), we have been looking at how we can improve this process for employees.
We also looked at how we can improve the Approval process for Administrators by giving them access to better information (such as Leave Balances) and also more timely alerts when an application has been submitted for approval.
There are several steps you need to consider if you wish to use this new functionality and don’t worry if you would rather not have staff apply for leave through MyTimesheets and your system has not been set up to do it, you don’t need to make any changes.
