In this final video, we are going to show you how to access the MyTimesheets Employee portal via a browser on your PC, Tablet or Smart Phone.

Using this method, you are able to check your MyTimesheets data and in some cases even add data using a browser.

Logging In to the MyTimesheets Employee Screen

On your computer, you go to the www.MyTimesheets.co website.

Now log in using the same codes you would use to log in on a smartphone except this time you are using your browser with a more detailed view and not using the app.

If you are doing this on a tablet, it would be the same but the screen would resize accordingly.

Once I have accessed the site, you will see the time sheet entries that you have entered. You will see the entries for last week, going backwards in time.

Depending on how often your payroll person rolls the data over, you should typically only see the current weeks’ data.

In most cases you will only be able to view the timesheet data you have entered via the app and not edit it. The main purpose of this view if you are using the App for data entry, is to give you the ability to log in and view what you’ve entered during the week. If you need to change something, you would need to notify your employer accordingly. See the note below re the built-in in message app.

If you try to access a day or entry and you see a black circle with a line through it that means that the ability to edit entries has been disabled.

Adding Additional Data

If you do need to add something more (and your employer has enabled this feature), then you can click on the ADD button. For example, if you needed to add a time for today you could or if you needed to enter some leave after the event ie sick leave you could. Data entered this way would need to be approved by your employer.

You have access to all of the same entry options you have through the app.

That said, the main reason for creating this view is to provide you with more information and more, a bit more visibility over what you have entered.

Padlock – if you notice that you’ve got a padlock icon on some of the days, it means that the employer has locked down the time sheets to ensure they are not changed before the payroll is processed.

Other Menu Options

Notify Button – In this Browser View you have the ability to notify your manager or employer you’re your MyTimesheets are ready to be checked.

Reports – You have the ability to print or view a report of all your Timesheets over a date range.

Export – You have the ability to export all your Timesheets data over a date range to a csv file which can be viewed in Excel or similar.

Internal Messaging App – The other thing you can do while you are in the browser view is to send messages to and from your manager/s.  If you click on the “Messages” envelope icon in the top right corner you can add a message and/or read your messages. You can also tick the “send by email” switch so your message is also sent via email. This means they will get a message with a little pop up alert in the top corner here just like you do on your Facebook messenger and they will be sent the same message via email. You will also receive messages/replies this way and be able to reply.

That covers how you view your data entered via the app.

Some of you may only be using this browser method and not using the app. If that’s the case we have another full detailed video that covers that.
